And Monero is here to fill the gap where Bitcoins doesn’t excel.
There are many wallet providers that support Monero. But we will be talking about a specific wallet because, in my personal experience, I found it to be the best(Of course, objectively).
This wallet is available on your Desktop, Mobile, and via the vast internet.
The desktop version is available on GitHub, making it more or less prone to bugs, and even if it ever gets bugs it can be quickly treated by the GitHub community
MYMONERO
This is the wallet we will be using for this tutorial and feel free to use any other but in my terms like I already said, it’s the best.
You can directly go HERE
And download the desktop client, or if you please, then use the web wallet, although the desktop wallet is preferred at times.
FOR DESKTOP USERS:
If you are not interested in downloading a Application go to the below heading.
- Download the wallet from its official site.
- It doesn’t require any installation. Just open it.
- Grant it administrative access( If asked)
- Click on “Create new wallet”
- Set your preferred name and color.
- Now Accept its terms
- Now copy the given sequence, and please save it somewhere safe
- The sequence will act as your login and must be entered every time to login into your wallet from another device or web browser
- Now select the first seven words from your Sequence and click next.
- Now create a PIN(at least 6 digits or character long)
- CONGRATS, you created your wallet.
- Now when you click on your wallet, you will see the address from which you can send and receive XMR(Monero)

FOR WEB USERS:
Doesn’t matter whether you are on Windows, Mac, or Linux you can use this Wallet via your browser.
Go to their official site
Scroll to the bottom and click on Quick access wallet online
Click on “Create new wallet”
- Set your preferred name and color.
- Now Accept its terms.
- Now copy the given sequence, and please save it somewhere safe
- The sequence will act as your login and must be entered every time to log in to your wallet from another device or web browser.
- Now select the first seven words from your Sequence and click next.
- Now create a PIN(at least six digit or characters long)
- CONGRATS, you created your wallet.
- Now when you click on your wallet, you will see the address from which you can send and receive XMR(Monero)
