THE DELL G5 SE 5505
If you are looking for a high-performance gaming device i.e the best laptop under 80k that fits your pocket we’ve got it covered for you.
We chose this device because it has something special to offer which no other laptop in this price range has i.e. AMD’S SMART SHIFT TECHNOLOGY.
It runs an AMD Ryzen’s 6 core CPU with AMD’s Radeon graphic card, now this combination does something special i.e. it redistributes power between CPU and GPU according to work load, which gives us about a 5 – 10% extra boost in performance which is a bonus at this price point.
There is a reason I am calling this laptop the best laptop under 80k INR which you will find soon.
Key Specifications On this Laptop:
Processor | Ryzen 5 4600H |
RAM | 4x2GB |
Storage | 512 GB NVME |
Graphics | Radeon RX 5600M 6GB GDDR6 |
Fingerprint Sensor | Yes! |
Display | 1080p 120Hz IPS LCD |
INPUT/OUTPUT:

Port selection on this device is pretty good, it’s got 3 USB-A, HDMI 2.0, and a mini display port, headset jack, an ethernet port, USB-C (supports display output), and an sd card slot.
THE DISPLAY-

The display is pretty good for 1080p gaming. it has a 72% NTSC gamut which is good given the price range. Plus it has a 120 Hz refresh rate so the gaming experience is going to be awesome.
Although a 144 Hz display would have been sweet but that Graphics Card just makes up for it.
GRAPHICS CARD == KILLER DEAL
It’s the world’s first device to have a combination of AMD CPU and GPU.
The GPU is slightly better than Nvidia’s GTX 1660Ti and an RTX 2060 Max-Q( Minus that Ray Tracing) in most games and the benchmarks are quite impressive given the 80K price point. Heck for a 100K Price Range in Laptops.
For the gamers and the content producers out there, this is no doubt one of the best Laptop under 80k INR.
3D MARK BENCHMARKS :

We have tested most of the demanding AAA titles they all looked good in high setting, some shooter games were better in medium settings when in a fight. But that’s totally up to you.
All the results here are in High settings. And are tested using different benchmarks.

RAM:

The ram is in a single channel but can be upgraded further down in the line.
It has 512GB of Nvme SSD with 1 extra Nvme slot if you want to upgrade in the near future.
Hardware Stuff:
The CPU is the AMD’s latest mobile processor with ZEN 2 ARCHITECTURE with 6 cores and 12 threads and a base clock of 3.0 GHz.

The battery has a 51 Whr battery which gives around 4 – 4.5 hrs of backup, and for a gaming laptop that’s pretty much what you expect.
Temps were well within range. In turbo mode, they were around 85 – 90 degree C which is okay, no thermal throttling at all.
Keyboard & Trackpad:
The keyboard is backlit with red color only, the key response is nice and its a full-size keyboard with number pad, key travel is sufficient with a 1.7mm(1.5mm is recommended).
The trackpad is okay it’s a plastic surface but has windows precision drivers hence it’s accurate. Though it is placed more toward the left which gives less space for the palm to rest while using WASD but it’s playable, so no issue.

It’s got a killer wifi card which is also upgradable but works a pretty great job for most people out there. But an upgrade option is never bad.
